okai.. they held their concert last night..
7 30 at esplanade, 26th march 05 :p
when i first got their tix..
i tot this had better be worth it..
at 50 buckz each tix... its kinda ex for me...
but.. last night.. haha that doesnt matter anymore...
ITS DEFINITELY WORTH IT
lol

5 people.. and their simply cute la..
hillarious and all..
oh... they wear those smart suits..
but wear white sneakers.. haha
han asked them why do they wear tt..
they said so they can perform their plays better.. :p
they used to wear ballet shoe ne.. lol!
coz they said previously they do ballet while playing the songs..
hahaha..
so anywae.. lemme recount wad happened last night la..
gonna be long and all.. but i want it to be recorded
ahaha

so.. they start of the evening by walking in from the left
of the hall.. from audience seat la.. :)
pretty cool i tot..
and they said that the piece they played while walking in
is their first encore piece.. lol!
encore b4 concert even start.... imagine tt...

1st song.. okai la.. nth much... hehe
2nd song.. feature the solo horn~
man.. he's young and not so tall.. :p
pretty short for caucassian.. but he's good lookin' lol!
anywae.. he's fabs...
even tho i tot it sounds pretty muffled..
then again like d'oh..
french horn's bell is facing the other wae.. of course
it sounds muffled.. ahahaha

now the 3rd song is where they get hillarious..
seriously i was like laughing like dunno wad..
not only me tho.. the entire hall was laughing.. hehe
the tubist was the one mc-ing la before this piece..
and this piece entitled....
Concerto in G Major for Piccolo Trumpet.....
of course features one of the trumpeter.. :)
in this case.. it was charles.. :p
so the tubist was like saying that this piece..
describes the seasons...
but to see which season they're playing..
its not described in the song... but on charles's face
(question mark..) then he continued....
there is winter... in winter u can see charles's face
not having any expression...
cold.. plain.. winter... :p
then.. comes summer!
u will see his whole face will turn BRIGHT RED..
lol!!!!
unfortunately for charles... after summer..
comes fall.....
so~ the colour indication...
charles's face will be purple...
so.. after bright red.. to purple...
from summer to fall...
( seriously. i was laughing like dunno wad.. :p)
then when charles was playing tt piece...
i can see why his face just turns from
winter to summer to fall....
most of the long phrases.. he plays in 1 breath..
and really.. his face just turns purple..
so cute..
no i know wad merrill meant by PUSH!!!! :P
but hey.. charles's tone din vary ok..
its still that beautiful and all.. :)

4th song.. is a song they usually play...
Giovanni Gabrielli..
the players move to different spots in the hall..
BUT! there was one exception.. :P
this time the t'bone-ist was mc-ing..
he said in giovanni... there is no tuba..
tuba is not significant..
so the tubist.. are allowed to seat anywhere he want..
and so the tubist went to the audience seat..
sit there.. and start PLAYING THERE!!!!
omg.. seriously...
hahahaha so cute!!!! cant believe it.. haha

5th song was the saint barbara sonata...
okai la.. they did mention sth funny..
about the horn being the magic..
and the trumpet will follow along as a dust..
so become magic dust..
or sth like tt..
lol! :p

6th song... hahahaha~! was titled
Fats Walker..
in one of the movement, the title was..
lookin good, but feelin' bad..
so.. the t'bone-ist was mc-ing again.. :p
he was like.. this movement,
the feature will be the french horn.
as u can see bernhard( the horn player)
is still young and vibrant... thats why he's lookin' good..
but if u see the horn's bell.. its different from us..
its facin' backwards,..
so.. there goes the feelin' bad.. lol!

then the other movement..
am not too sure which one...
features charles in piccollo trumpet...
playing too much of piccollo trumpet..
(the mc said) will give a hair loss as a result.. :p
of course charles is still young and strong,.
so it doesnt matter to him..
