THANK U MR TAN!!!!
for asking us to come to the concert that is...
repeat the concert man! i wanna attend it again.. :p
it's so fun!!!
especially the perc. ensemble...
so cool!!!
the bird the wolf and the pink pig!!!!
muahahahaha
the concert start out solemnly...
so nice. with the candles and lights from the stage
then they played short pieces..
and then yankie doodling.. ( i think tts how its spelled)
the song is written in a way so that we can introduce the instruments
one by one to the audience..
no wonder there are so many young kids attending the concert...
the piece was fun.. even though the tune.. is repeated again n again...
but overall.. it was fun!!
the narrator were superb..
mentioning that trombone.. since it slides.. its the cheekiest instrument..
ahahaha that goes to the players too i guess..
( i mean look at desmond and han... ;p )
oh! gave aik kee roti boy during interval.. hahahaha
but its a cold one.. so dun think its tt nice le...
:p hope he likes it though... hahahaha
then after interval.. its peter and the wolf story telling time..
so cute!!!
especially when the 3 cats came on stage..
with crazy in love ( by beyonce ) as the background music..
all stage break lose..
hahaha everyone on the stage started dancing n swaying their instruments..
mr tan's cute... hahahaha
and the 3 cats were superbly cute.. especially the fat one..
remind me of garfield.. :p cant believe they are all guys.. hahahaha
and since the story was associated with wolf..
red riding hood came out of no where..
hahaha now the conductor also plays a part then... so cute..
the narrator were good la... :p
after red riding hood... the 3 little pigs came out!!! so cute!!!!!
oh... there were duck and cat and bird too.. but they were all part of the story la
unlike red riding hood and 3 li'le pigs..
those 2 are... kesasar lah.. :p
then after peter and the wolf right...
they nicely linked it up with the perc. ensemble..
so cool!!
so after all there are more than 7 percussionists that night..
and they really use daily things to make out the play...
like.. pan frying pans.. baskom... wadever there is la..
and then they used pails to play.. the bird the wolf and a pink pig played that higlight..
so cool. ... they were really superb.. :p
oh.. there was this part where red riding hood tried to play like the 3 of them..
then she failed to the so.. and the performers ( the band )
started throwing papers at her.. so cool!!!! :p
after the perc ensemble.. its childrens' march
and the 2 side halls were filled with staffs throwing balloons down to the audience seats..
a santa clause came out.. ( early christmas )
and the casts from the peter and the wolf came out to the audience seats too....
kids were all running around during the piece la..
and at the end of the piece.. they popped 2 louds party poppers.. :p
( dunno wad its called la.. but tts wad its referred as in indo.. ;p )
i guess this concert has kids as their target audience..
still.. i never been to such a concert..
and by SAF band? i thought its gonna be a serious one.. :)
ended up not as i expected.. but overall.. the concert was fun..
and its fun to a lot a lot of people i guess...
( something happened during intervals tho.. so i didnt really enjoy.. but.. it was fun!!! )
